The Packer is a delight
to paddle. Its responsiveness will invite you to paddle even when you
don’t have a destination in mind. The Packer is designed for the
paddler to sit. With an adjustable footbrace and plastic molded tractor-style
seat the need for a kneeling paddling position is eliminated - your
knees and back will thank you.
The canoe tracks well and yet it is quick to turn when
leaned on its side. The Packer is suited for a wide range of paddlers,
from 50 lbs to 240 lbs. When the total load is kept under 400 lbs, the
Packer performs nicely as a medium duty tripping canoe. Options include
a removeable portage yoke and foam thigh pads.
