visually appealing yoke moulds to the shape of your shoulders
and neck, making your portage a little easier.

Expedition Spray Skirt

A canoe spray deck
that fits the dimensions of your boat with the functions you
require. It easily adjusts for a perfect fit regardless of
load height and temperature expansion and contraction, good
access to gear and the flexibility to use a full or partial
deck. These decks can be made to fit a wide variety of canoes
from a two-person expedition canoe to a solo boat. The deck
allows easy access to gear during the day and quick unloading
of the boat at the campsite.
The deck material is made from 14 oz, UV
resistant/non-shrink vinyl. Cockpits are built large with
a Velcro opening up the front and elastic waist. This allows
for easy escape in case of rollover, plus allows for a comfortable
fit while sitting or kneeling. On a hot day, when the skirt
is not needed, it can be opened up for comfort. Installation?
You can do it yourself. You will need a drill, and nerves
of steel, as you have to drill holes in your canoe hull. Average
installation time is 2-3 hours. Or, make an appointment and
bring your canoe to Western Canoeing & Kayaking and we
will install it for you.
