CANOE MOTOR MOUNT

Designed to clamp directly to your gunnel – or, for Clipper models we recommend installing a ‘motor mount support’ (sold separately).

These motor mounts are suited for 1 to 2.5 HP motors or electric motors. The clamp easily to the gunnel or motor mount support behind the stern seat -providing easy access to your motor.

FLAT YOKE

Wood yoke, makes portaging a whole lot easier. For longer portages, check out the ‘Scooped yoke’.

You can upgrade any Clipper that doesn’t come with a yoke when you order your CLIPPER or you can purchase an aftermarket kit. Installation instructions here.

SCOOPED YOKE

Slipstream scooped yoke makes portaging your canoe easier on your neck and shoulder muscles. The contoured shape of this visually appealing yoke molds to the shape of your shoulders and neck, making your portage a little easier. Yoke length: 36″ Scooped yoke installation*, scooped yoke in place of a flat yoke.

YOKE/THWART HARDWARE

Use this hardware to mount a wooden Yoke or Thwart in your canoe. Kit comes with a bracket and hardware for each side of one Yoke or Thwart.

Lashing kit for Wilderness Tripping, moving water. This gear lashing kit adjusts to tie your gear down to prevent your load from shifting during turbulent paddling. View Lash Kit Instructions.

CAM STRAPS

Cam straps are the quickest, simplest and safest way to secure a canoe to your cartop. A padded buckle protects the canoe from scratching. “Available in 10′, 12′ and 15′ lengths. Most kayaks will use a pair of 10′ straps and for most canoes a pair of 12′ straps are suitable.”

CANOE ROWING RIG

The Canoe Rowing Rig by Essex Industries is ideal for the leisure paddler or fisherman. Portable, mounts easily to canoe yoke and gunwales. Can be used with paddles or oars.
